Commercial Programs

The focus of the Commercial Programs at the Solar Center is to provide outreach to, education of and connections for building professionals as they transform North Carolina’s commercial and institutional markets.

High Performance Building program staff members provide technical assistance and outreach development for commercial and institutional building needs related to energy and resource efficient design & construction, incentives information, and integrated design processes.

Outreach includes cooperation with individual professionals and companies, local and state government entities, local green building groups, local and state professional building organizations, and other interested entities. Additionally, staff members develop course outlines and content for the Green Building Diploma Series, a large part of which addresses commercial construction.
