Logistical Information

All workshops are held in Raleigh unless otherwise noted. Classes start at 8:30 AM and end at 5:30 PM. Continental breakfast and a buffet lunch are provided.

 Lodging:

Option 1:

Raleigh Holiday Inn Express- $85/night for program attendees- just mention you registered for an NC State University training program when making reservations.  A good deal of our training programs will be held in this hotel.

Option 2:

University Housing at N.C. State has a limited number of guest rooms located at the Avent Ferry Complex. This is a comfortable, convenient and economical alternative for guests affiliated with the University who want to stay close to campus.

PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED – Cost: $30/night

Note: Under NC State Affiliation enter Maria O’Farrell as the host and McKimmon Center as the NCSU Department

Option 3:

Find a list of hotels near the NCSC Training Lab/McKimmon Center

NOTE: ALL hotels give a discount for attending a McKimmon Center event.  When making a reservation make sure you mention that you are attending a workshop at the McKimmon Center.
