The mission of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program [hyperlink to is to enhance our nation’s energy security by supporting public and private partnerships that accelerate the use of alternative fuels and advanced transportation technologies. Strong local coalitions and a flexible approach to building markets helps collaboratively address problems that are unique to each region. North Carolina Clean Cities Coalitions include:
